A wanderer Last Episode 24
Before Maham woke up, the
beautician who was to prepare her had arrived with her three-member team. They
got Maham ready again, for Morgan. Morgan had also returned home.
After offering the
evening prayer, Morgan came downstairs, dressed in a shalwar kameez, wearing a
garland of flowers around his neck. Despite his simplicity, Morgan looked
dignified.
Maham, dressed as a
bride, was sitting on the couch in the lounge. Begum Mumtaz ordered Morgan to
sit next to her. Both photographers were ready and waiting for this moment. A
brief photo session took place. All the family members presented gifts to the
couple.
Afterward, Mumtaz Begum
instructed Morgan to take the bride to his room. Morgan extended his hand, and
Maham quickly placed her hand on his.
Morgan took her to his
bedroom. The decor was impressive, with everything imported and adorned with
numerous flowers. Morgan signaled Maham to sit beside the bed. She sat on the
bed, looking around the room, while Morgan took a seat beside her.
The moment Morgan sat
next to Maham, her heart began to race. Morgan lifted her downcast face and
said, "My name is Morgan Baig." Upon hearing this, Maham's cheeks
blossomed with a smile.
"I was Maham
Chaudhry until yesterday. Today, thank God, I am Maham Morgan," she introduced
her past and present. This was the first verbal introduction of their silent
love.
Morgan presented his
bride with a beautiful diamond necklace.
They spent the entire
night talking and teasing each other. Silent love had gained the ability to
speak through the blessing of their marriage. They recalled the incidents of
their unique love, basking in its memories throughout the night. After bathing
in the late hours of the night, before the Fajr call to prayer, Morgan took
Maham by the hand and led her to the terrace.
On that cold night, the
moon looked like a groom in the blue sky, and the stars resembled wedding
guests. Gazing at the heavens, Morgan remarked, "This was the time I used
to set out for my ascension."
“I have traveled alone
enough; now I am your companion,” Maham said, looking into Morgan's dark eyes
with her brown ones. Seeing this, Morgan fell in love with her. They were both
enchanted by each other's affection.
"You are very
beautiful," Morgan said, looking into Maham's eyes.
Maham smiled modestly,
her gaze lowered, radiating charm. At that moment, her cheeks glowed like the
sun rising over a field of saffron.
"I want to say
something..." Maham asked with lowered eyes.
“Go ahead…” Morgan
replied affectionately.
"It's a bit
personal..." Maham said sweetly.
“The bond between a
husband and wife is also personal,” he replied.
"Please forgive your
parents." Morgan looked at Maham seriously. Maham doused the seriousness
with her smile, taking his hand in both of hers and said, “Please, for my
sake... I believe that the greatest lovers are indeed the parents. What kind of
lovers are they who never make mistakes? They made mistakes too.”
“Who told you all this?” Morgan
asked, his tone impassive as he read Maham's face.
“Uncle Hakim told me…” Maham
said softly, also looking at Morgan's face.
“Please... take this as
my first and last wish. I will not ask anything from you for the rest of my
life…”
“On one condition…” Morgan
said in a blunt tone.
“I agree…” Maham,
overjoyed, replied without hearing the condition.
“You will never mention
them again!” Morgan stated firmly.
“I accept that too…” She
felt relieved to hear Morgan's words, and smiled in a teasing manner as she
added, “You were so angry, for a moment, you scared me! How can you be so angry…
Oh God!” Maham exclaimed with a delightful expression. Morgan smiled upon
hearing this. He had fully entered the valley of love, bridging the gap between
love and hate.
"Do you want to meet
Lana Herry?" Morgan asked Maham.
"That famous
writer?" Maham guessed.
"Yes, that's
her!"
"I would like to
meet her... but at this moment, Lana Herry...?" Maham said in surprise. Morgan
smiled.
"Lana Herry said
that when you find the destination of love, call me, then I will write a novel
about you too."
“Have you found it...
your destination of love?” Maham asked casually.
"My love and my
destination are both in front of me at this moment," Morgan said
romantically. Hearing this, Maham lowered her gaze.
The story that began at
the wedding hall concluded with their union.
The end.
